About

I'm Guillaume Balaine, a software engineer from Paris. I've built and scaled products in startups for the past 15 years.

What I've done

• CTO, five times. TODO: list the companies, one line each: what it did and what you built.
• Principal engineer at Adikteev. TODO: one line on the work.
• About ten products shipped from scratch. TODO: link the two or three you're proudest of.

What this site is

I get new startup ideas all the time, and I build a working prototype of the good ones quickly. Instead of keeping them in a notes app, I publish them here, each with the prototype, why I think now is the moment, and what it would take to turn it into a company.

Who I want to hear from

• Founders with domain knowledge, customers or distribution, looking for a technical co-founder.
• Investors and angels who meet strong non-technical founders.
• People inside the industries I write about, who can tell me what I've got wrong.
